And since Fashion Week is focused on what makes current fashion based on sharing Alaska's stories and style, it was fitting to tie in a tasting that explored whiskey's from around the world, some being relatively new, and others more traditional.
Jared Cure, owner of the Narrow's Bar, created a sampling of five whiskey's. Explaining their origin, flavor and fragrance, age, and even information down to the casks used. I learned that different countries have different criteria for what makes a whiskey. Some char their barrel, while others only use a barrel once! Whiskey is a wonderful world and we loved exploring it!
