About the Artist: Kristen Larson is originally from Paradise, California and has lived in Juneau for 30 years. She has raised two children, and is currently workings as a special education para-educator. Having put aside painting for many years, she relcaimed this hopeful pursuit a few years ago. She also finds joy in her various musical explorations including singing, and playing in local ensembles.
